One could say that Jeff began his career at the age of 12, when he sold his first oil painting, but officially he broke into the New York photography scene from a Soho loft in the1980’s.

Attracting the attention of the top magazine editors of the time, he launched  a successful career that has made him one of America’s top magazine and advertising photographers.

For Jeff, it all started with light. His summers spent sailing in the Hamptons as a child made him aware of sunlight and his photography career has continued to follow the light.  Even on a rainy day, he can create any mood needed. So whether he is on a hilltop in Tuscany, or a windowless studio in Manhattan, he can make the sun shine.

Traveling nationally and internationally, Jeff has been on assignment in almost every state and continent, and is at ease with every culture he encounters. He has also been invited to shoot at the White House twice along the way.

The relaxed feel of shooting with Jeff is the result of his enthusiastic personality, passion for his work, collaboration with colleagues, and ease of problem solving.  His beautiful images and impressive list of clients are a result of his approach to his work.

A native New Yorker, he now lives in Fairfield, Connecticut in a light and laughter filled

home in the country.
